Your First Visit to ACC...
Welcome!
Atlanta Christian Church may merely look like a large old-style brick building on the outside, but on the inside, we're all about loving God and loving people. We want to help you get rooted into a community of people on a quest to live life out as God intends. We would love for you to attend our worship service and other ministry opportunities! We have great discipleship opportunities for all ages - infants through adults.
What Should I Expect?
Our Sunday service is designed to be biblically based and relevant to your daily life. We invite you to dress however you feel comfortable. If you are coming for the first time, we encourage you to come 10-20 minutes before the service to allow time for parking and finding your way around (especially if you have children). We have a fellowship time with donuts, juice, and coffee at 9:15 in "The Gate," our fellowship/community space, followed by our 10 a.m. worship service in the sanctuary. The usually averages an hour in length. Nursery and Children's Church (K-4th grade) is available during the 10 a.m. worship service. 5th grade and up are expected to worship with their families.
Welcome Center
If you are a first time guest or have visited a few times and want to know more about the ministries and opportunities to serve at ACC, please stop by the Welcome Center located on the south side of the Gate. A smiling welcome center volunteer will be stationed there to answer all of your questions and hand you a welcome packet of information about the life of the church. You can sign up for small groups, get information about children's ministries, or request prayer with one of our church leaders. The lost and found box is located here as well. Please drop by when you visit ACC... we want you to feel right at home!
The mission of the Welcome Center is to build and promote a hospitality team to provide a welcoming atmosphere to continue building God's Kingdom.
