Welcome! Atlanta Christian Church may merely look like a large old-style building on the outside, but on the inside, we're all about loving God and loving people. We want to help you get rooted into a community of people on a quest to live life out as God intends. We would love for you to attend our worship service and other ministry opportunities! We have great learning opportunities for all ages - infants through adults.
What Should I Expect? Our Sunday service is designed to be biblically based and relevant to your daily life. We invite you to dress however you feel comfortable. If you are coming for the first time, we encourage you to come 10-20 minutes before the service to allow time for parking and finding your way around (especially if you have children). We have a fellowship time with donuts, juice, and coffee at 8:30 in the basement fellowship hall, followed by our Sunday School hour for all ages at 9 a.m. Our worship service is at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. Nursery is available during both the 9 a.m. Sunday School hour and the 10 a.m. worship hour. Children's Church is available for nursery-5th grade during the 10 a.m. worship service. The kids will be dismissed before the sermon time. We think it's important for kids to worship with their families in "big church" too!
Where Should I Enter The Building During Construction? During our construction process on "The Gate" (our new multi-purpose community building), we recommend that you enter through the main entrance on the corner of Maple and Third (up the red steps). There is handicap ramp accessibility to the sanctuary off of Maple St. Please ask any of our members or staff if you have questions.
